How the project was born
After 12 years as a construction engineer, I decided to take a 180-degree turn and finally make a living from my true passion: running a catering business!
It’s not a new idea. I had gained experience during my studies, working in Le Carré in Liège, but I wanted something different.
The revelation came while tasting coffee on a trip to Costa Rica: I HAD to find a place to open my own coffee shop.
Having spent all my youth in the town of Bastogne, it was naturally in this area that my search began, all the way from Costa Rica!
And as there are no coincidences… An old bakery, right in the center of Bastogne, was up for sale! Absolute love at first sight… but what an enormous building! What to do with all that space?
My coffee shop, Chez Maggy, has finally opened on the first floor!
What if I set up a gite upstairs? Okay, but a luxury gite! Like so many others? No…
But what could I add to make it stand out? I needed an idea…
I wanted to combine an ideal location and luxurious surroundings with relaxation, romance, eroticism and confidence…
And I hope it lives up to its promise to you too…
